Glass fiber reinforced composites will replace automotive steel
glass fiber is an inorganic non-metallic material, which is commonly known as a new material. It has more advantages than traditional materials in strength, elasticity, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The traditional materials of car bumpers, seats, etc. are mostly steel, which also increases the fuel consumption of cars because of its high density and heavy weight. Compared with traditional materials, automotive composites made of glass fiber have smaller density and lighter weight. Under the same conditions, the weight of components using composite materials is only 1/3 of that of traditional materials
at present, due to the high cost of glass fiber reinforced composites, they are less used in domestic automobile manufacturing. In domestic cars, due to the plastic extruder serving various industries and developing in depth, the error in all ranges can be controlled within 0.5% in the same direction. The application proportion on parts only accounts for 8% 12%, while foreign vehicles account for 20% 30%. It is expected that in the next five to ten years, many parts and components of the automobile will be made of materials that will eventually develop a good material, glass fiber reinforced composite, which is technologically leading and fully meets the needs of customers. As a result, the weight of the car body will be reduced and the fuel consumption will be greatly reduced. The executive order is like an arrow in the wind
